About Ms. Emma Lynn
Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and view my client work, here is a little more about me: I have been saved by grace in Christ alone. The Lord has blessed me with so much, an artist's creative mind, loyal friends, a family--four unique and lovely children to raise. Ellanore is 12, Winifred is 11, Pollyanna is 9 and my not so little Ellwood is 6. I enjoy reading out loud to them and savoring peaceful and slow mornings, especially during these homeschooling years. Since they were little babies I have been dedicated to giving them a non rushed and old fashioned-ish childhood. But as they are getting older, the activities, the youth groups, the desire to be with friends--all the things and new things keep increasing! We can be one busy family!
I have a big appreciation for all things handmade and homemade. I truly love old things! I enjoy making a house a home by adding character with all my little vintagy and warm touches. I proudly put in the effort daily to cook and bake from scratch for my family. Hey, I even mill my own flour and more notably--- I roast my own coffee! It's so, soooo important to me what my children are eating and learning beside me. I'd choose clean wholesome ingredients over conventional any day. And yep you guessed it, I do love to garden and have one too!
I am quite content being just at home but I could undoubtedly spend all my open days hiking adventures! A photographer has to find all the good photo spots right?? :) I'll never pass up a good starry night whimsical walk, now that is something I can look forward to at the end of each day.
Earthy tones, especially fall colors are forever my favorite. Change of the seasons will get me in the best of moods. Because I love cuddling on rainy days, unexpected foggy crisp mornings in autumn and I anticipate the dreamy meadows full of wildflowers in the spring.
Lastly, more than anything I love documenting my own family’s memories. Captured details to remember and be forever reminded of what a fruitful childhood I gave my children. BUT! What a privilege it is to also provide memories for others as well. I've been a dedicated professional passionate photographer before I had a family 16 years ago. I have literally photographed it all! Weddings and maternity sessions, newborn sessions, family sessions, grad sessions, staged mini sessions, lifestyle in home sessions----you name it!. I have the experience and talent but more than that I I truly love my job and twisting in my vintagy, heirloom style.
Hebrews 11:3 states, "By Faith we understand the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.."
Meaning--in faith and through His word we know God created the world. It was not seen until God created it and made it visible. I love this verse because as an artist I am constantly creating and know what "the big picture" in the end will look like. My finest work comes from others who trust me to capture it.
