Ready...Set...Smash!These cake sessions are one of my favorites to shoot! So much effort into making everything coordinate with colors, banners, and frosting- and in the end its a big sweet mess! I had a lot of fun photographing baby Sariyah for this one! You just never know what she is going to do in front of the camera! I've been taking her pictures consistently since she was a newborn, and I cannot believe she is already turning one! We took these cute pictures first in my backyard and then we went inside to my studio to take the rest of the 1st birthday pictures with the cake. After that went back outside to clean up Miss Sariyah...and well I photographed that too!

Its just about that time of the year again!!! Christmas will be here before you know it!
Book YOUR family photo session NOW to get a good day & time for this years Christmas cards! My goodness!! This whole year has just doubled with me booking and shooting photo sessions! I'm so grateful to all my clients for keeping me busy and telling their friends and family all about my services! So I decided to give back a little bit and hold a drawing for every 100 likes I get on my Face Book fan page! The winner of the drawings gets a free photo shoot of their choice! I'm posting pictures and a video here to show that it was a real fair drawing! I typed up all 500 names/likes and then printed them all out on paper to be cut into strips! Do you see your name here? :) I promised my clients a drawing at 400 likes but by the time I was ready to print/cut all the names out I already had 500 likes! So this drawing has two winners!! (By the way, this is Miss Olivia. She is my lil' helper sometimes in my studio. She lives down the street from me and is interested because she wants to be a photographer when she grows up! So I thought it would be awesome if she drew the winners for me!) Congrats to the winners! Thank you to all my clients for your support, keep sending people to my page! Looking forward to the next drawing!
What a fun photo day! This family lives down the street from me so I went to their home to take lil' Caden's newborn pictures, and well...we decided to try to get all the kids together for a few pictures too! Of course I made sure mom was nearby just in case they tumbled over! But I think they came out so darn cute! Then I had a chance to take a few studio pictures of baby Caden. (12 days old)
What a great night for the Green family...still brings tears to my eyes! About a week ago I had the honor of photographing my very first military homecoming session. I had a front row ticket to see a family reunite with their daddy since his deployment 8 months before! These kids were too cute with mom while waiting anxiously for their daddy's plane to arrive! Finally! Oh, just love this last shot! Capturing moments like these makes me love my job even more! Welcome home Jeffery! Thank you for your service and thank you for asking me to photograph your beautiful family on such an important event.
FINALLY! Yes, I know its about time I started blogging on here! For my first post I thought it would be cute to show a few snips from my twin brothers photo shoot before their junior prom. In the picture above- I was trying to explain to them that I was going to focus the camera on their invite and they would be a blur in the background...like this: These girls were totally cute in their matching dresses! Everyone keep asking them if they were twins going with twins!
I still can't believe that my baby brothers...are NOT babies anymore! They looked so handsome and grown up in their tuxes and they both were very sweet towards their beautiful dates. Quite fine young gentlemen they are turning out to be! Both of them thanked me over and over again for taking time out of my busy-busy days, to be there and capture their special moments. Its what I do best! But honestly I would not have missed it for anything! I hope they wish to keep me involved in their lives for years and years to come! |
